The Roundhouse is looking to appoint a part-time Project Manager on an initial 1 year Fixed Term Contract. The Project Manager will oversee the first elements of our Next Generation Project, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and taking responsibility for operational delivery. Phase one will be to add a further storey of office accommodation onto the existing Roundhouse Administration Building - as this project has already been designed and approved the Project Manager will work closely with the principal contractor on delivery and construction. The Project Manager will also work on future phases of the Next Generation Project which include the replacement of a tiered theatre seating system and some smaller improvements projects within the main venue. The most significant phase of the project is a new building in the service yard area of the site which will house bespoke studios for a variety of art-forms and a Centre for Creative Entrepreneurs. Planning permission has been granted for the entire project and the various phases are at different stages of development. We are looking for a dynamic individual with experience in managing similar building projects, ideally within an arts environment.

The Roundhouse is a hub of inspiration where artists and emerging talent create extraordinary work and where young people can grow creatively as individuals. We believe in the power of creativity to change lives. By giving young people the chance to engage with the arts through our music, media and performance projects, we inspire them to reach further, dream bigger, and achieve more.

We do this because we believe creativity gives us freedom, hope and has the power to transform.

The successful candidate must have a current and acceptable DBS check, or be willing to undertake one, due to the nature of the role.
