Shropshire Council is looking to recruit two experienced Database Analysts to support the IT

Application Management Lead in providing high quality database and application solutions. You will

be expected to bring technical experience of database and data management technologies to lead

on ICT related projects and to directly support the other members of the team.

The role is based within the Infrastructure and Security team and provides support to internal and

external customers on a wide range of technologies and applications such as:

-Oracle

-MS SQL

-Linux

-Applications management

You will need to be an ICT professional, very experienced in delivering excellent customer services.

Being able to communicate effectively and clearly at all levels is essential.

This position is fixed term for 12 months to relieve pressure on the current team and assist with

releasing resources to support a major ICT programme of works over the year.
