Agile Project Manager (3 Month Contract- DV Cleared)

We are looking for an experienced DV-cleared Agile Project Manager for three months to be based in our head office in Farnborough, Hampshire. This is also available as a permanent opportunity.

The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of an exciting new programme of work, coordinating a small, focused team with the wider organisation, customer stakeholders, vendors and partners. This role is for a 'hands on' IT Project or Programme Manager that wants to get into the detail and deliver.

You must:

- have experience of programme planning, monitoring progress, resolving issues and driving corrective action;

- have experience of agile IT infrastructure and software delivery projects (CI/CD and software-defined infrastructure great advantage!);

- be customer facing, credible and comfortable in front of senior stakeholders as well as engineers on the team.

- You must have familiarity or experience of working within an Agile environment, and in fast paced customer organisation.

Essential Requirements:

- DV-cleared

- End to end project and programme management experience

- Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

- Evidence of creating and building a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams

- Excellent knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes

- Sufficient seniority and credibility to advise project teams on their projects in relation to the programme, whilst being comfortable with being hands-on

- The ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems

- Experience of managing multiple concurrent projects with proven delivery within a commercial IT environment

- Vendor/supply chain management

- Knowledge and understanding of the full project/development life cycle and the concepts and practices required to implement effective IT systems

- Experienced with waterfall and agile methodologies
