Our Client :-

Specialise in global asset tracking and data collection from a a network of satellites.

Your New role :-

As a Software Engineer , you will be part of a creative self-starter team to support the manufacturing team in test design, automation and execution of both system level and integrated satellite testing. You will take written Test Instructions and convert them to python scripts to interface (networking and serial) with test equipment and satellites. (Develop software interfaces (automation) between test equipment and satellites.) Experience coding for database interactions is a strong plus

Your Skills and experience :-

Essential Skills :-

Experience:

Extensive experience with Python

Extensive experience with Linux

Experience developing for and running industry standard test automation suites (such as NI.)

Experience with software interfaces for spectrum analyzers, programmable power supplies/attenuators/RF switches, vector signal generators, and/or similar test equipment.

Strong candidates:

C, Embedded, Rohde and Schwarz test equipment

Experience automating electronic test equipment; spectrum analyzers, programmable power supplies/attenuators/RF switches, vector signal generators, and/or similar test equipment.
