Xamarin Mobile App Developer

Location: Dublin

Leading global tech company in Dublin is looking for a Mobile App Developer with broad experience using Xamarin, to join their established mobile development team.

The focus of the role will be to design and build advanced applications for iOS and Android platforms using Xamarin & C#. This person will lead iOS and Android development

working closely with other mobile app developers to ensure a consistent approach for all platforms and maintaining a parity in features

Key skills/experience required:

- Commercial experience in mobile app development, demonstrating successful delivery of mobile apps integrated with cloud-based services

- Broad experience in cross-platform development using Xamarin and strong programming skills in C#

- Experience with Xamarin data access, memory and performance tuning, touch and notifications

- iOS and Android SDKs

- Experience with RESTful APIs to connect apps to back-end services

- Knowledge of cloud message APIs and push notifications

- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

- Solid understanding of the mobile development life cycle and UI/UX standards

- Experience in publishing iOS and Android apps

Desirable:

- Good knowledge of Java and Objective-C/Swift

- Agile methodologies

- Familiarity with continuous integration

- Software Development in a regulated environment - ISO13485/IEC62304

- Medical or Clinical domain awareness
