Senior Business Analyst - SAP MM

Our market leading global client are looking for a Senior Business Analyst, specialising in SAP, specifically the MM module, to join their team on a permanent basis. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for working in partnership with the Business providing SAP MM-IM system support, innovation, leadership and expertise on day-to-day business activities and project initiatives.

The Senior Business Analyst will also be responsible for all system aspects of inventory management, stock control, stock movements, external warehouse management systems and stock at third party logistics providers.

Senior Business Analyst - SAP MM - Key Skills:

* Extensive and demonstrable SAP MM-IM technical experience in SAP ECC6.

* Preferred SAP LE-WM technical experience in SAP ECC6 environment.

* Experience of leading SAP project implementations/work streams and business change in large organisations.

* Excellent MM-IM implementation & support expertise in a multi-company, multi-plant, batch managed, short shelf life manufacturing environment.

* Excellent MM-PUR implementation & support expertise - master data, release strategy, output determination, pricing procedures

* Good understanding of inter-company processes, including stock transport orders, inter-site stock movements, deliveries

* Good understanding of IDOCS - distribution model, partner profiles, monitoring

* Good WM implementation & support expertise - master data, pick and placement strategies, organisation elements, interface to MM-IM

* Good understanding & experience of SD, PP-PI, CO-PC, CO-PA, FI-GL, QM interfaces

* Previous experience in Business Process Modeling, Requirements elicitation and solutions design, build, test and deployment using recognised techniques and tools.

* Skilled user of Microsoft Office applications.

* Good SAP Query knowledge and experience of EDI and/or EWM is nice but not essential

Senior Business Analyst - SAP MM - Responsibilities:

* Proactively identify business process improvement opportunities and lead business process change

* Understand client requirements. Propose and deliver fit-for-purpose technical solutions

* Identify and utilise SAP or industry best practice. Align to proposals, considering practicality, alternative solutions and business readiness

* Ensure solutions implemented across the organisation are aligned to business standards and Audit requirements.

* Adhere to standard system configuration templates and recommend & participate in developing enhancements to these

* Manage full life cycle project implementations and/or Lead project work stream delivery using recognised standard methods & tools

* Preparation and delivery of all prerequisite technical documentation and post-deployment support/training documentation

* Undertake hands-on system and master data configuration, specification, modification and testing of new developments/fixes

* Execute system configuration, development, prototyping and testing in prescribed pre-Production environments. Documented evidence signed off as fit for deployment

* Provide hands-on support for integrated SAP platform and dependent systems within specific area of expertise

* Management of subject area workload - task allocation & prioritization, progress-tracking, task delivery and issue resolution
