My client, a respected top-tier bank, is looking for a Big Data Business Analyst to work from one of their London offices on a contract basis.

The Big Data Business Analyst is needed to work in the Markets Delivery change team which is responsible for change impacting the Financial and Capital Markets of the Corporate Banking Division which covers Credit & Rates, FX, Money Markets and Capital & Collateral Management businesses.

The role is specifically working on the Data Lake and Front Office Systems improvement team (Hadoop, Hive) which exists of roughly 20 Project Managers, Big Data Business Analysts and Data Modellers who have expertise in Big Data Technologies whilst interacting heavily with the business simultaneously.

Skills/Experience needed:

* Extensive Business Analysis Experience

* Data Analysis expertise

* Extensive exposure to Big Data Technologies within Banking - Hadoop and Hive are essential

* Great exposure to the business as well as technically (stakeholder management)

* Front Office Systems experience
