Head of Testing

£55,000 - £65,000
My B2C client, an award winning multinational firm are looking for a Head of Testing to join their Testing team. You will be helping shape a testing team across different brands, implementing a risk based approach to testing activities across all brands.
They are looking for someone to come in and work with the group CTO and senior stakeholders in order to define testing approaches and methodologies that work hand in hand with agile development. It will be your responsibility to ensure the team has the right skills, structure and tools in order to provide the best results.
Your responsibilities will include
*Monitoring quality across all areas of the business
*Mentoring, driving and leading testing teams
*Designing best test practices, tools and methodologies
*Development of corporate standards and strategies
*Line managing, recruiting and retaining current staff
*Constantly refining and improving your test programme
*Look after the performance reviews for management within the test team
Experience and skills required?
*Experience in building testing teams
*Developing test teams within a complex technical environment
*Agile/scrum methodology experience
*Experience developing risk based testing
*Knowledge of modern testing tools within cloud based environments
*Brilliant communication skills
*Experience working with stakeholders
*Understanding of lean principles
Desirable skills include
*Java Experience
*Micro services based platform and NOSQL Technologies
