Join the Electricity Transmission Strategy and Performance Team and help to shape a new and developing area of the business, get to work with a huge variety of people from across the business with exposure to how the end to end process works from strategy through to delivery. The purpose of the role is to lead and undertake, defining the Electricity Transmission National and Geographic (area/regional) targets and work volumes to be generated within the Portfolio, based on business outcomes set by Electricity Strategy. The role will also track and monitor progress against outcome targets, review outcomes delivered to date, review any work which is currently in flight and projected work which is in the Portfolio and is expected to contribute to an outcome. The role will be responsible to identify any risk to outcome delivery at a Portfolio level and coordinate activity to maximise the likelihood of outcomes being met.

It is essential for you to have a strong analytical skillset, previous commercial experience and excellent stakeholder management skills.

About the role

- Convert strategic business outcomes from Electricity Transmission strategy and operation plan into National and Area portfolio targets outcomes into volumes of work, understanding the best way to achieve volume based targets;

- Track and Monitor progress of National and regularly assess the feasibility of delivering business outcomes, providing and feedback if targets become unattainable;

- Ensure there is alignment between National and Area portfolio outcome targets

- Review previous performance using historic trend analysis and understand current performance relating to each portfolio outcome target

About you

- You will need a Numerate qualification, HNC/Degree

- Detailed knowledge of evaluation tools and methodologies (WLV, CBA etc.)

- Experience managing conflicting drivers and finding the optimum solution

- Experience analysing complex data to produce management information, reports and business impact

- Knowledge and understanding of the RIIO mechanisms

- Experience and confidence working across a large group of people and co-ordinating activities

- Experience producing reports and Management Information

- Experience of Stakeholder Management
