Relying on your recent experience delivering and developing IS learning and development interventions, you will work as part of the Learning and Development Team to design and update existing training materials as well as plan, deliver and evaluate project based training as needed. You will also contribute to e-learning solutions.

Experience in the delivery of IS based training including the ability to write training materials is required, coupled with knowledge of the business applications used in the Group such as Microsoft Suite, Kronos and various internal bespoke systems. A working knowledge of SAP PM and MM would be advantageous, but not essential. Strong communication and organisational skills are also required as you will work closely with staff both within the IS department and across the Group.

The role of IS Trainer will include -

Contribute to training needs analysis and evaluation of IS Learning and Development services and make recommendations for improvements that meet changing Group needs.

Assist in the design and development of innovative, cost effective and good practice IS Learning and Development interventions, including e-learning solutions, to support the needs of the Group and enable staff members to perform at consistently high levels.

Deliver effective and efficient IS training interventions to ensure quality and application of learning, including collating training feedback, making recommendations for improvements, following up and assisting with implementation.

Maintain effective internal and external relationships to maximise the IS Learning and Development services available to the business and ensure that they meet Group needs.

Contribute to special programmes and projects in support of the Group’s activities, including developing IS Learning and Development programmes in accordance with strategy following mergers and other TUPE transfers.

Skills and experiences -

-Frequent nationwide travel and overnight stays are a requirement of this role so a full, current driving licence is essential.

-A CIPD certificate in Training Practice or a Diploma in Training Management, or relevant knowledge and experience from a similar role is required.

-Approachable with great communication skills at all levels.

-Recent experience of training delivery

-Excellent presentation skills

-Proven ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work loads
