Major Business Transformation Programme

As a strong and successful organisation, with over 50 years of expertise, Bromford is a £160 million enterprise that enjoys a widespread reputation for constantly innovating and pushing back the boundaries to ensure we deliver on our social purpose…and that approach is set to continue.

With a full business transformation programme now underway, encompassing all aspects of the business, we’ve seen the definition of new target operating models and associated benefits for all service areas. As part of this programme, we’ve embarked on a procurement exercise to replace our current systems with a fully integrated business solution based on a leading ERP/CRM platform. This is now ready to move into the implementation and delivery phase of the programme and deliver the new operating models.

Our Service areas have been grouped into the following 6 project streams and we’re looking for experienced Project Managers for the following 3 projects, who have worked on similar scale transformation programmes, to manage each one:

Project 1 - Asset Management, Housing Planning & Construction

Project 2 - Customer Management

Project 3 - People Services

As the Project Manager, you’ll relish the prospect of playing a leading role in this exciting business transformation journey, applying your expertise in a ‘digital first’ world and helping ensure ‘best practice’ is firmly embedded as a way of life. Specifically, your role will involve:

                                                                                                                                   Direct control and day to day management responsibility for specific projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to specification, in line with business objectives

                                                                                                                                   Defining/agreeing project scope, goals and deliverables in line with our delivery method, as well as managing dependencies and the critical path, with added accountability for ongoing reporting and review activities

                                                                                                                                   Working with our delivery partner to oversee the deployment of our new business systems and integrate this with the delivery plan for the overall operating model

                                                                                                                                   Managing significant inputs and relationships with key parts of the business and overseeing quality control throughout the full project lifecycle, from inception to deployment

As an accomplished and PRINCE2 qualified Project Manager, equipped with the purpose and vision to drive business and organisational change in a large and complex organisation, you must have:

                                                                                                                                   A proven track record at a senior level - evidenced by substantial experience in the successful management and delivery of strategic and often complex projects/IT systems

                                                                                                                                   Experience of delivering projects within an overall programme with multiple workstreams

                                                                                                                                   A strong and practical grasp of multiple project management methodologies, supported by excellent analytical, planning and organisational skills, along with a fair level of IT/PC literacy

                                                                                                                                   A high degree of commercial and technical know-how, backed by first rate communication and relationship skills, plus the ability to mentor and coach your peers and colleagues
