Confer is looking for an experienced, versatile and flexible Project Co-ordinator to support the work of this innovative conference and online resources company, which offers continuing professional development to mental health professionals, psychotherapists and psychologists. They will form part of a team of 5, which includes 3 new positions.
The successful candidate will have experience of providing high-end administrative support and co-ordinating multiple projects, with excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills. They will be able to handle contracts, proof read texts, manage logistics of conference events and respond to requests from other members of the team. In addition they will have the ability to maintain and proactively search for accreditation and business opportunities for our online CPD activities in the UK and internationally. They will have an ability to understand the complexities of the mental health fields, and the educational needs of professionals in providing the best quality of care to their patients. You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, delivering a responsive, impressive and high quality service to people interested in our services.
Selection Criteria
Education
-First degree
-Further qualification in business management, such as MBA or equivalent qualification in psychology
Experience
-Recent experience of project managing mid-scale projects within the health care or educational sectors OR recent experience of senior administration within publishing or other media company
-Experience of working in a small and flexible team, supporting a network of colleagues
Knowledge
-Demonstrable expertise in writing, proof reading, basic editing and form filling
-Knowledge of conference organisation, e-learning and/or CPD provision
-An understanding of business operations
Skills
-Strong communication skills
-Commercial acumen and business awareness
-Superb admin skills including Word, Excel, Powerpoint
