With an increase in projects and expansion, we are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Consultant.

You will be leading the architecture, design and planning of complex PaaS and SaaS projects, and liaising with clients from conception to completion. You will be a confident team leader and comfortable in a client facing role. As a senior team leader, you will be confident at managing both your own time and others.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work closely with client stakeholders to establish technology strategy at a business and technology level.

Lead the architecture, design and planning of complex PaaS and SaaS solutions

Accumulate market know-how, industry and technology trends, to enhance and manage knowledge on projects.

Support vendor evaluation and decisions on technology investments.

Ability to manage very large architectural systems with large development teams.

Work with business stakeholders to provide technical solutions that deliver to business needs.

Provide leadership and technical direction for multidisciplinary teams

Lead design, estimation, planning and implementation of IT system related business solutions.

Lead business development and proposal work, developing client relationships at all levels.

Ability to deliver compelling presentations to senior internal and client stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years of experience in technical architecture, design patterns and implementation of solutions (and/or product integration projects).

10+ years engineering experience

Experience in a consulting or client-facing role.

Proven team leadership experience and solid experience managing large architectural systems

Experience of design high scale high availability service oriented or micro-service architectures for the cloud.

SD 5+ years SDLC methodologies; Agile or Scrum preferred

Openness to travel and work at client offices.

TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS:

MV* architectures such as React,, Knockout or Backbone

Implementation experience HTML 5 with rich user experiences

Experience in techniques such as Mobile first, Domain driven design and Responsive Web Design

Architecture and design of RESTful APIs

Middleware design, including failover, long running transactions, AMQP and MQTT

Identity design using OpenID Connect, OAuth 2

VAPI Management and documentation

Cloud architecture design for global scale and high availability

Languages C# or Java

Techniques such as continuous delivery and continuous integration

Multi-tenant architectures deployed in the cloud

Implementations on Cloud services including Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Amazon AWS

Knowledge to enable selection criteria for SaaS, PaaS and IaaS provides
