There is now a fantastic opportunity within our IT Department as part of a small development team to help drive change using current IT standards and procedures within agreed timeframes and support, develop, analyse and test, key in-house applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and investigate problems with in-house applications, assigned to the Development Team via the Service Desk

Maintain, develop and test in house applications using C# .NET programming skills.

Perform query and data analysis using Transact-SQL (TSQL)

Maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 2008

Communicate effectively with IT team and key business users

Liaise with external resource where necessary to resolve issues with third party applications

Document the processes involved for the support of the applications in the production environment in line with service level agreements.

Assist in the deployment of new releases of software in order to meet the level of service required by the customer

Skills & Experiences - Essential

Strong experience developing in SQL Server 2008/2012, T-SQL, stored procedures.

Problem solving and analytical skills

Skills & Experiences - Desirable

Demonstrable experience in C# .NET

General business analysis experience

Experience supporting reports developed in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 2008

Travel industry experience

Advanced Excel - VBA, macros, functions, pivots & charts

Word templates

Ideally Microsoft certification in SQL Server or .NET development
