The Parliamentary Digital Service is transforming the way Parliament does digital. We’re responsible for the entire digital strategy, including development of all parliamentary platforms from intranet services to a brand new website.

We’re now looking for a User Research Lead whose team will keep the user at the heart of every decision we make. In this role, you’ll lead the design of multi-platform, end-to-end user journeys and make a real difference to the way Parliament works.

You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the PDS, including Designers, Performance Analysts and Tech Leads, to develop excellent digital services for a modern Parliament. You’ll keep user need integral to the design and development process and influence senior colleagues to adopt solutions based on the outcomes of your research.

We’re looking for someone with proven experience of gathering user requirements for digital services. You’ll have experience of the full range of research techniques covering design, execution and analysis, and will have mentored and directed junior research colleagues in the past.
