Senior Engineer - Leicestershire

Location: East Midlands / Leicestershire

Salary: Up to £55,000 plus highly competitive benefits package

The Opportunity:

My client an Award Winning Contractor has an urgent requirement for a Senior Engineer to work on a large £30M + Mixed Use Development in Leicester.

As the Senior Engineer you will initially oversee the remaining civil works before starting the concrete/steel frame. A Senior Engineer with heavy lifting qualifications is highly desirable either appointed person or IPAF/PASMA etc.

The Key Requirements:

* Have a minimum of 6+ years Engineering experience within Construction

* Ideally be degree educated in a relevant construction field

* Have worked for reputable main contractors

* Have exposure to commercial, retail, leisure, high rise or mixed use developments

* Must have steel/concrete frame experience

* Be an appointed person or have relevant heavy lifting qualifications

* Strong Health & Safety knowledge and good at implicating site safety measures

* Excellent communicator with the ability to liaise with site team effectively to make sure they understand technical drawings and setting out suitability

Qualifications:

* HND /Degree in Building or Civil Engineering

* Associate or graduate member of Institution of Civil Engineers (desirable)
