Senior IT Project Manager

London - £70,000 p/a

Your Opportunity

As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will work on a contract with our Big 4 client, working within their Managed Solutions, IT team, focusing principally on the delivery of technology projects in the Financial Services sector; including work for blue-chip clients; There are currently a number of exciting RPA (Robotic Process Automation) projects which are likely to be your first assignments (training on RPA will be given, as required).

Responsibilities

* Leading client-site work projects, involving initial scoping, design, and delivery of work packages, designed in conjunction with the client and internal stakeholders

* Designing and leading RPA process assessment workshops for clients, and internally

* Leading multiple RPA teams, consisting of developers, business analysts, solution architects, project managers, and testers

* Leading the creation and delivery of sales presentations to senior client stakeholders

* Presenting at all levels including to senior client stakeholders, interfacing with internal and external (client) IT teams

* Discrete business case design, preparation, budgeting, benefits tracking, and benefits realisation

* Leading the project planning function, and managing implementations of RPA technology across multiple internal/external stakeholder groups

* Extraction and compilation of Management Information and models

* Implementing Design/Build/Test and Deploy phases for tactical and strategic IT Solutions

* Providing IT perspective and written submissions to bids, proposals, RFPs, ITTs, PQQS etc

Technical Requirement

* Proven IT Project/Programme Manager Experience (8+ years), ideally in a Consulting or financial services or other large Enterprise environment.

* Proven track record of leading projects, including work with RPA technologies such as: Blue Prism; UiPath; Python; and Automation Anywhere or similar products, on end-to-end programmes to assess, design, build, develop, deploy and embed RPA solutions.

* Experience of working in fast-paced and demanding delivery-focused environments

* Track record of navigating IT infrastructure challenges in the setup of RPA solutions.

* Understanding of the following technologies: HTML, JavaScript, XML, C/C++, C#.NET, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, Python

* SQL programming experience/awareness (ability in T-SQL, Views, Stored Procedures, SSIS, etc.)

* Experience of use of technology to drive automation with a track record of successful projects

Competency/Experience:

* Experienced in using Microsoft Office Project to construct project plans and budgets

* Comfortable leading technical conversations with clients at all levels, ideally including C-suite

* Experienced user of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

* Experienced in leading large IT programmes/projects with large budgets

* Hands-on & flexible approach to emerging requirements ("Can-do" attitude)

* Strong documentation ability allied to excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong track record of prioritised planning to work within tight project planning constraints

* Able to provide identify risks and issues and provide approaches to overcome

Preferred:

* Experience and awareness of challenges in technology-enabled process automation

* Direct experience in RPA (not mandatory as training will be provided)

* Experience in the Financial Services Sector, especially banking

* Experience in Financial Services Remediation/Remediation projects in general
