Pre-Sales Engineer - Software Monetisation

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Pre-Sales Engineer to join their team.

This is a superb opportunity for a talented IT or software engineering graduate looking to develop their career and work with an exciting range of operating systems, web technologies, workflow and architecture and database administration technologies.

As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our client’s UK and Benelux Sales Teams, clients and prospects regarding technical pre-sales requirements for the company’s software monetization products and services. This exciting role will see you travelling throughout the UK to visit customers as well as undertaking some travel to Ireland.

Acting as an expert on back-office order flows, processes, systems and interfaces, you will also develop and maintain knowledge of the client/security-related aspects of our client’s products.

Typically, you will accompany Sales Consultants on prospective customer visits and assist them in technically identifying and qualifying opportunities. You’ll create responses to RFI documents and provide pre-sales technical support to the product portfolio.

As you grow into the role, you’ll get to be involved in:

- Technical account management

- Providing assistance, consultation services and code samples

- Installing and configuring software at customer sites

- Delivering licensing workshops and creating licensing solution design documentation

To be considered, you must have some experience or exposure to most of the following:

- Operating systems, including Windows, Linux, Unix or MacOS

- Web technologies, such as WSDL, SOAP (HTML/XML) or RESTful webservices

- Workflow and architecture of back office systems, such as ERP and CRM from SAP, Oracle or SFDC

- Database administration, including SQL, ODBC or Oracle

Above all however, you must have a degree in an electrical, computer engineering or computer science-related discipline along with a driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
