Enterprise Solution Architect - 6+ months

Enterprise Solutions Architect required for my East Midlands based client to join the ESA team, and ensure that this team works effectively and delivers to time, budget and quality. You will provide oversight on the architecture and design of an application solution, across multiple applications and technologies amongst other things.

The successful candidate will have:

Essential:

Strong experience of working as an architect in at least 3 application/technologies, ideally SAP, Middleware and Web/eCommerce.

Strong experience (3+ years) of leading and supervising a team of architects whose key accountabilities support the ones for this role.

Experienced and comfortable with interacting at all levels across various countries and cultures.

Excellent verbal, written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams through various methods including using virtual communication tools (phone, conferencing, online meeting).

Strong motivational and leadership skills, and experience in managing and developing a team of technical experts in a fast-paced creative environment.

Sound Project Management skills including experience in solution development approaches and principles including defining requirements, creating specifications and the design, build, test and deploy phases.

Educated to a degree-level or equivalent in a relevant subject, or equivalent by experience.

Desirable:

International experience.

Management of a team split across multiple geographies.

Understanding of architecture frameworks, e.g. TOGAF.
