Embedded Software Engineers for Mobile Platform Security

An excellent opportunity for capable Embedded Software Engineers to secure a fantastic position, researching and investigating potential mobile platform security risks and attacks within the Product Security Group of a world leading mobile security company who, through decades of security innovation and expertise have become the leader in complete solutions for embedded security applications.

Their hardware, firmware, middleware, software, and intellectual property work together, enabling customers to secure everything from mobile devices and transactions to payment, access, and the Internet of Things.

Their Product Security Group provides comprehensive embedded security solutions to world-leading companies who rely on their mobile security and secure

transaction offerings to protect critical assets including connected devices, content, services, identity and transactions.

As a key member of the Product Security Group your brief will be -

* To conduct research and investigation into potential mobile platform security attack vectors and propose defences

* Develop and run fault attack campaigns on Inside Secure operating systems and applications

* Write example code and guidance documents and provide documentation for product security certification

* Provide support during the external laboratory evaluation of our products for certify cation processes (EMVCo, CAST, VISA, CC…)

The relevantly experienced and qualified Embedded Software Engineer - Mobile Platform Security will need to have the following skills -

* A Degree in an appropriate technical discipline (e.g. Software, electronics, computer science)

* 3+ years working on microcontrollers, embedded software or mobile platforms

* C/C++ programming

* Secure software and fi rmware experience or interest

And ideally, experience in some of -

* Mobile platform architecture

* Knowledge of ARM architecture

* Knowledge of security standards

* Cryptography and Key management

* Operating system implementation

* Java Card
