Business Analyst (Agile) - Aberdeen - 45,000 - Global Leader

My client is a leading supplier of software solutions in their field and operate on an international scale. Due to recent growth and the opening of a new office they are looking to expand their dynamic team in Aberdeen by appointing a Business Analyst.

As the Business Analyst you will follow an Agile development methodology to liaise with stakeholders in order to analyse and communicate business requirements. The information you gather and analyse will be used to suggest changes to policies, business processes and information systems. You will use your knowledge of Business Analysis to recommend solutions that help this organisation to achieve its long-term goals.

This is a permanent position and the successful candidate can expect to earn between 40,000-45,000 plus a competitive package.

Key Responsibilities:

- Planning the requirements gathering process and prioritising which requirements are most important for implementing change

- Requirements gathering from stakeholders to a high standard so that change can be effectively implemented by the project team

- Following Agile methodologies in requirements gathering and analysis

- Provide insights into business change and mapping

- Assessing and verifying the effectiveness of solutions in regards to the original requirements

- Enterprise Analysis: assessing the needs of the organisation as a whole and striving to identify initiatives which can improve the strategic direction

Key Experience Required:

- Excellent experience in Business Analysis and requirements gathering/documentation

- Techniques: gathering and documenting of requirements using UML and Agile methodologies

- Understanding of/exposure to software development environments and processes

- Experience in project managements and stakeholder analysis
