Role: SAP Controller / IT Support

Location: Telford

Salary: 30-35k plus benefits

Overview:

We are looking for a technical all rounder to take control of the internal IT department and specifically look to take over the running of the SAP Business One system that is currently being outsourced.

This is an expanding business, and the role would suit a technical all rounder with assumed SAP Business One, along with general IT support skills across a Microsoft bias infrastructure.

It has now been decided that the time has come to employ internally a suitably qualified and experienced person to deal in house with all SAP Business One and general (1st line) IT related matters.

Principal Activities and Responsibilities:

Split between SAP Business One Improvement and IT Technical Support

*SAP Business One Systems support. Updating and maintaining the SAP Business One system to ensure the integrity of group data

*Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting data.

*Identify, implement and enhance current SAP processes to ensure that the needs of a growing business are met.

*Monitor and control the stock function in SAP, maintaining standard costing's and notifying the business of any price variances

*Driving improvements of value to the business through SAP process and data manipulation.

*Delivery and efficient operation of SAP

*Ensure finance and IT systems are secure

*Working closely with Finance department for financial strategy and business forecast reporting

*Oversee and manage SAP Business One project work

*General IT Technical Support across the Group

*SAP Business One - New user training

*Installation/upgrades and configuration of new and existing IT systems

*Providing technical support via telephone and e-mail to all end users as required

*Maintaining computer systems and customer support

*Installing and configuring computer systems

*Diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults

Key Technical Skills Required

*Exposure and experience of managing SAP Business One

*Good, all round Microsoft support experience including Windows Server, Exchange and general TCP/IP based networking along with hardware support skills.

*Project management skills

*Configuration and maintenance experience of SAP Business One

*Form development - SAPScript, Smartforms, Adobe forms

*Workflow development experience in order to document SAP Business One Processes

*Excellent communication skills

*Experience in implementing SAP integration across functions

*Detailed system and process knowledge to challenge process and propose improvements cross functionally

*Application support

*Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people
