SAP Data Lead (SAP HR Implementation) - Oil & Gas Industry - 12 month fixed term!

A global leader in the oil & gas field is currently recruiting for a SAP Data Lead to join their in house SAP project delivery team. The successful candidate will work with the business and other members of the SAP team to deliver the data management solution of the SAP HR implementation for a global template.

Role:

- Analyse legacy systems (HR and non-HR) and identify an initial data cleansing strategy/approach and associated requirements (inventory of systems, data cleansing approach, data cleansing business rules, readiness reports)

- Map data flows/ data objects/ business data model in all TO BE systems (TO BE architecture will be mapped out by the Technology Lead)

- Define and implement data migration strategy and plan (extraction, cleansing, convert and upload)

- Define the data migration requirements and work with ABAP Developer to configure/test and implement data migration programmes

- Work with process teams to define datasets for all testing cycles

- Document functional and non-functional data requirements associated with TO-BE architecture (including legacy systems not decommissioned)

- Support the identification of the relevant master data and control requirements within process areas

- Support the development of business blueprints, technical/functional specifications, training and testing materials, post-implementation support

- Define data gaps, potential data issues and workarounds

- Propose governance body to manage data solution, data stakeholder and ownership matrix

- Ensure data integration within process area and other HR teams e.g. succession planning, global grading, recruitment and selection, etc

- Act as a change agent and provide input into the change management planning and activities of the stream

- Ensure implementation compliance with project standards, guidelines, design principles, methodology etc

Requirements:

- Data Migration experience (inc. strategy)

- Experience in SAP HR data cleansing activities

- Experience in designing and implementing data solutions on SAP HR-enabled transformation projects

- Deep knowledge of SAP HR solution and integration

- Functional knowledge of HR processes

- Ability to design and implement requirements

- Excellent communication skills which have enabled you to gain support from senior management and stakeholders
