Graduate Administrator / Document Controller required for a leading global oil and gas company based in Aberdeen.

You will be responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. You will follow an individual work plan and meet day-to-day short-term objectives. You will have the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

Essential Responsibilities:

* Be responsible to interface and manage feedback from multiple sourced such as field service, engineering, and project managers for procedures applicability and accuracy

* Utilize mechanical aptitude and ability to quickly understand and comprehend technical manuals and electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics accurately

* Manage validation of document applicability, quality, and accuracy while enforcing the production schedule

* Develop and use a common library of phrases and terms

* Associate task sequences and get them in the proper order

* Identify when a graphic in a procedure would facilitate simplicity and ease of use

* Understand the application and appropriate use of notes, warnings, and cautions in developing a document

* Identify and enforce document control and quality standards

* Extract technical drawings, bills of materials, and other information from engineering control systems for use in technical documentation

* Assist in monitoring reproduction of manuals and verify accuracy upon completion

* Improve and develop technical writing standards and leverage best practices

* Work as part of a diverse global team

* Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University (OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Operations and military leadership OR an Associate's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of professional work experience)

* Minimum 5 years computer experience

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

* Strong understanding of desktop publishing techniques

* Excellent command of the English language

* Experience in Oil & Gas industry

* Demonstrated knowledge of electronic printing and publishing

* Experience in topic based / modular documentation development

* Highly self-motivated, results driven individual with a proven track record

* Strong communication skills (both written and oral)

* Ability to work well with culturally diverse global teams

* Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
