Red Commerce is currently hiring an SAP FI/CO Consultant for a new permanent opportunity based in the Liege area, Belgium.

We are working closely with a market leading company who require a senior SAP FI/CO consultant with strong implementation and business skills.

- Reporting to the Head of ERP Service; lead, own and manage SAP FI/CO modules Incident; Problem and Change Management processes across multiple sites and geographies.

- Perform complex design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP FI/CO modules in SAP

- Assist in outlining new developments business case justification to ensure that proposed solution is capable of delivering articulated business benefits to the business owners.

- Provide application management and support, ensuring operational stability and effectiveness of applications SAP ECC 6.0, within SAP FI/CO area.

- Provide content knowledge to the management and you will support the full life cycle of solutions from execution of new projects through operation to departure.

- Facilitate the business requirements gathering sessions and ensure the information is captured/documented as deliverables out from the business requirements gathering sessions.

- Analyze the business requirements comprehensively together with the business process owners, verifying the underlying business needs and identify potential solution options will also be in your remit. - Perform accurate translation of business requirements into system functionalities, either by specifying them as system enhancements or by doing the respective system configuration.

- Create or review the functional and technical specifications for enhancements, interfaces and data migration; support the developers with the implementation of the same.

- Take over the SAP Financials and Controlling area governance on the system side and therefore build strong relationships with the counterparts on the business side.

- Act as Subject Matter Expert, mentoring junior team members and follow/enforce/improve best practice application support processes.

Requirements:

-University Degree

-Preferred experience in Life Sciences industries (Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Medical Products, Biotech).

-7+ years SAP FI/CO

-Strong Integration Business process knowledge and configuration experience to support interface with other SAP modules: Production and Planning, Sales and Distribution, Materials Management

-Strong knowledge on the areas Asset Management and Controlling (Product costing and Profitability analysis).

-Proven experience working with one of the financials consolidation/reporting tools: SAP BPC, Hyperion HFM, Cognos Finance, etc.

-Proven experience in providing leadership and strategy to SAP functional teams and ongoing SAP developments.

-Significant experience managing teams comprising permanent staff, consultants, and contractors (on and offshore) motivating them to achieve well communicated expectations.

-Strong knowledge of ITIL or COBIT frameworks; certification is a plus

-Planning and estimating the work and resources required to deliver

-Monitoring and controlling schedule, cost & effort variance

-Proven ability to establish and articulate a vision, set goals, develop and execute strategies, and track and measure results.

-Client relationship management, strong negotiation and collaboration skills.

-Business transformation and change management professional.

-Experience of working in a large and complex organization.

-Experience and ability to interact with some very senior stakeholders in the company and challenge them where necessary; advising them of the system capabilities and possible solutions to business challenges.

-Willingness to travel

-Languages: Fluent English. Dutch or German a plus
