Our client is a large government agency and they are currently recruiting an experienced SAP HR Functional Analyst for a 24 month contract based in London.

The requirement is for an individual with SAP Human Resources experience to fill the position of a SAP Functional Analyst. The individual should have experience of SAP HCM (Human Capital Management).

Essential Skills/Knowledge/Experience required in at 3 least areas:

* Experience of SAP HR Configuration

* Work schedule rules

* E-mail templates

* General table maintenance e.g. updating occupational health protocols/services

* New absence/attendance types and subtypes

* Yearly Leave quota generation

* Payroll

* Time and attendance - knowledge of the clients absence and attendance policies and procedures e.g. Attendance at Work, Performance Appraisals, Disciplinaries etc

* Training and Events Management - Booking and managing courses, roles and qualifications

* Organisational management e.g. experience in the starter/mover/leaver processes and procedures

* Occupational Health Services

* Employee Self Service (ESS) & Manager Self Service (MSS) portals - knowledge of workflow approvals, setting up substitutions, entering/approving appraisals, employee benefit

* Reporting - R3 operational reports e.g. Attendance at Work, Overtime, Absences and Attendances, Operational staff reports (Weekly display sheets)

* People Solutions [Success Factors]

Desirable skills/experience:

* Ideal candidate should have a good understanding of SAP HCM customisation and analysis.

* Experience/knowledge of interfaces

* Experience/knowledge of the clients Competence Management System (CMS), Staff Nominations and Safety Critical Licensing Processes

The role will typically involve performing some or all of the following:

* Ability to create test scripts to ensure that full end to end process is tested for all Change Requests (both Functional and Maintenance changes)

* Assisting on incident resolution as and when required

Other Requirements:

* Proven abilities to work creatively and analytical in a problem-solving environment

* Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

* Full understanding of the SAP change and release cycle.
