Senior Java Programmer: Role

My client is a leading financial technology provider operating internationally and has recently been recognised and named as the leader within their field.

With major current contracts, and planned, signed off projects already up to 2015, we are seeking to hire enthusiastic and capable Senior Java Programmers who wish to work for a financial based Market Leader.

You will be working with some of the largest names in the business covering bespoke systems specifically within card payments.

This role has so much scope to progress and variety on a daily for you to ensure your Java Development/Programming skills will be utilised to their full potential.

Senior Java Programmer Profile:

Excellent at writing clean, robust and manageable Java Code - Server and Client side

Unit and integration tests

Experience with Spring Framework, XML Processing, Hibernate, SQL, XML, UNIX or Linux, VMWare, Soap.

Application of Software deign patterns

Previous experience writing code for distributed, multiplatform, client server environments.

Educated to a Degree or Masters level within Computer Science or IS (equivalent working history is accepted)

Sense of humour

Ability to provide leadership and/or Guidance to other professionals

Excellent communication skills

Career Driven,

Able and willing to travel to a client site should the opportunity arise
