SEARCH MANAGER (BASED IN EITHER EDINBURGH/GLASGOW)

Our Client, a leading flight comparison company, is looking to recruit a senior paid search manager to lead the strategy, implementation plan and activation for their Hotel and Car Hire products. You'll be tasked with defining a product (Hotels / Car Hire) specific paid search strategy and activation plan which:

·Focuses on the most cost-effective but scalable approach to paid search marketing

·Considers and evaluates the pros and cons of the various keyword and targeting strategies available (e.g. market led, destination lead, partner lead) and advises with confidence the way forward for the organisation

·Drives market leading ROI and analyses the optimum mix of 'traditional' paid search and product extensions to achieve the KPIs

·Up-skills and provides expert counsel to the existing paid search specialists within the team whose experience is predominantly in the flights sector

·Supports the product and country marketing teams in understanding the opportunities within paid search for Hotels and Car Hire and works hand in hand to ensure that the global strategy can be adapted on a local market level where required

·Delivers accurate reporting and provides insights to improve performance

Must Haves:

·Significant experience in leading PPC Strategy within the Hotel and /or Car Hire sector-(THIS IS A COMPLETE MUST HAVE FROM THE CLIENT PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE THIS)

·Strong SEO skills

·Strong analytical skills

·Strong budget and project management skills

·Strong search engine knowledge
