My North Lanarkshire based client is seeking a Web Applications Developer for a permanent opportunity.

The Web Applications Developer is responsible for development and support of primary business systems in order to meet present and future needs of my client in a manner that enhances and promotes the integration of Information Technology within the operation. We require someone who can demonstrate the following essential skills:

The applicant should have a working knowledge of, at least, some of the following:

* .NET development using C# or VB.NET

* ASP.NET Web development

* Web Forms/MVC/MVVM

* Web Services

* Test Driven Development

* Database Platforms including Microsoft SQL Server

* HTML including CSS

* Data Access Frameworks e.g. Entity Framework

* JavaScript and Libraries e.g. JQuery

* XML/XSLT

* Any experience of support and/or development using BizTalk Server, SharePoint, Oracle and the Microsoft Business Intelligence suite (SSIS, SSRS and SSAS) would be an advantage but is not essential.

We are also looking for someone who is happy to work in a team environment as well as taking a proactive approach to dealing with the day-to-day IT operational issues. This includes receiving, prioritising and documenting work requests.
