Our client, a market leading company, is seeking an experienced Test Analyst to work a fixed-term 6 month contract for an exciting new opportunity.

You will join a team undertaking on site client work, following the latest industry standard processes and methods. As well as supporting test activity and developing test strategy you will manage productive relationships with third parties and engage and manage key stakeholders.

About the Role:

* Assisting in the development and strategic steering of test approach

* Providing test estimates and delivery schedules.

* Defining appropriate test cases, scripts and data.

* Defining requirements and working with the Test Environment team to ensure the right system is ready for the test execution.

* Developing and executing test schedules, ensuring that defects are logged and tracked and that trends are highlighted to the project team.

* Assist in the development of test reports.

* Ensuring all test ware is properly reviewed and approved.

About You:

* ISEB/ISTQB Testing Foundation.

* Proven track record of software testing, with an understanding and experience of both functional and non-functional testing.

* Test automation skills e.g. QTP, Selenium, Cucumber.

* Experience developing and managing high quality test documentation and defect reports.

* Excellent document review and feedback skills.

* Experience reviewing the test approach, estimates and schedule in the context of the project requirements.

* Familiar with Test Management tools such as HP Quality Center and various industry standard test tools.

* Excellent understanding of what it takes to deliver a test strategy and plan.

* Good reporting and communication skills, and ability to act as a coach to less experienced team members.

Experience within financial services is desirable but not essential. An ability to script or code would be beneficial, as would experience working on large scale complex software solutions.

You will be self-motivated with a can do attitude and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. You will be comfortable working as part of a team and will be located near to Glasgow.
