Senior Operations Analyst

Limited in your current Operation Analyst role? Want to work in a global fraud prevention and payment company. Where you will be a key influencer in the company plans. Entrepreneurial, but don't have the chance to fulfil this currently? This Operations analyst role will give you the freedom to explore exciting markets and bring onboard new clients.

Scope of work

A highly motivated, hands on Senior Operations Analyst with a positive attitude is needed to join an ambitious market leader in the finance industry in Edinburgh.

You will

* Be part of an experienced team responsible for operational support in live and staging environments. You would have strong Linux and database skills.

* As a member of the operations team you would be expected to cover an equal share of the 7x24hr offsite pager support for which there will be additional remuneration.

* Have knowledge of RDBMS at the SQL and DBA level and knowledge of working to ITIL standards.

Desired Skills

* Strong Linux ( Redhat and Debian )

* Ability to understand/debug Perl and Java code

* Good technical documentation skills

Optional

* Knowledge of ITIL standards an advantage.

* Knowledge of RDBMS at the SQL and DBA level

* Knowledge of scalable, fault tolerant, and performance critical systems architecture.

* Experience of using case/tickets management support tools.
