Project Manager : Software Development : Perm : Glasgow - Up to 55K

Abrecco are recruiting, on behalf of our well established client in Glasgow, for an experienced Project Manager with a track record in the delivery of software development projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing the delivery of projects with responsibilities that include mobilisation and management of project teams (internal and external), client engagement, risk / issues management, and working with a high level of governance via a Project Office. The role will involve the management of multiple software and application development projects within the business; projects will vary in size including some key projects that will last upwards of eighteen months. To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

Essential:

- Educated to degree level in Business or Technology discipline

- Strong commercial Project Management experience

- Extensive background delivering software / web / application development projects

- Experience running multiple concurrent projects

- Excellent communication skills and experience

- Post graduate qualification or degree in relevant subject

Desirable:

- Formal Project Management methodology accreditation such as Prince 2, APM, PMP, MSP, ISEB

- Agile/ Scrum master qualifications

- Experience of working with and managing offshore based teams
