A global asset management firm based in the city centre of Edinburgh is seeking to appoint a talented, passionate graduate within the Web Applications Support team.

The successful Web Applications Support Analyst will be joining a team of highly-skilled individuals who are responsible for monitoring, supporting and enhancing the company's internal and public websites.

The team deal with complex web application architectures, data flows, messaging systems and content management systems within a UNIX/LINUX environment, and the successful graduate will gain excellent experience across a variety of different areas, supplemented by world-class formal and on-the-job training, mentoring and support. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong and self-motivated graduate to develop their career within an industry leading environment.

In order to be successful in the role, you need to have the following skills and experience:

* Degree-educated (Honours) completed in the following disciplines - Computer Science, Technology, MIS, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or similar

* For fresh graduates, candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong interest and aptitude for technology, via internships, personal projects or work experience. For more experienced graduates, a minimum of one year's solid experience within a technology role is essential

* Experience of shell scripting in a UNIX/LINUX environment

* Administrative experience of JBOSS/Apache/Tomcat

* Well developed written and verbal communication skills and a strong ability to build/develop relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
