AVP Product Controller - London - Financial Services

My client, one of the world's largest financial institutions, are recruiting for an AVP Product Controller to join the Mortgages Financial Team, based in London, initially on a six month contract.

Rate - £350-£360

Location - London

Length of Contract - 6 months

Start Date - ASAP

Overview

Primary function of the Mortgages team is to provide control & business advisory guidance.

Responsibilities

Complete regular control activities around P&L and Balance Sheet control across asset classes within Mortgage business. Help the business to develop efficient and profitable use of capital through accurate reporting of Risk Weighted Assets & profitability.

Execute within control framework (completeness, reconciliation, accuracy and repeatability).

Measure, report and escalate issues both within finance community and to the business for appropriate action.

Essential Skills

Qualified CFA or Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

Strong Product Knowledge across asset classes

Experience of working, advising, non accountants

Excel: Able to build and use spreadsheets.
