SC Commercial Manager/ SC Finance Manager

My client, a global telecoms provider is looking for an SC Commercial Manager/ SC Finance Manager to join a project to support their bidding phase. The ideal candidate will need to understand and set the commercial priorities for complex customers building commercial propositions across fixed and mobile whilst managing customer interactions. They will need to be able to align channel and customer execution with segment strategy, and drive performance in new business and retention activities.

The core competencies and knowledge that the successful SC Commercial Manager/ SC Finance Manager will demonstrate are below:

* Proven experience of managing complexity and understanding commercial levers within a commercial function, preferably in a complete communications environment operating in B2B and/or B2G verticals

* Ability to develop innovative commercial solutions to meet complex customer requirements

* Able to influence and challenge within changeable and complex environment

* Capable of working in a matrix structured organisation with an ability to build strong relationships

The desired technical and professional qualifications are below:

* A qualified accountant with 5 years post qualification experience gained within the commercial function of leading "Blue Chip" organisations OR a commercial professional of similar standing.

* Extensive financial, commercial and cost management expertise,

* Strong external and internal stakeholder management, with Customer negotiation experience

* Strong experience in large complex tenders in high competitive environments

* Preferred but not essential; Public Sector Commercial bid experience
