DevOps Engineer / Systems Administrator (Linux Unix Windows Java Apache Tomcat JBoss Puppet). Market leading sports betting website is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer with strong Linux and Java skills to bridge the gap between development and systems teams. You will install, configure and provide on-going support for key Middleware infrastructure for production and non-production environments.

As a DevOps Engineer you will recommend hosting and application technology for future projects, showing consideration for the full lifecycle. Keeping up-to-date with the latest innovations and industry trends, you will become an in-house expert for a selection of key technologies and troubleshoot technically challenging issues to provide rapid service restoration.

Based in the City, this is a technically-driven environment that encourages innovation where you will work with a broad range of cutting edge technologies.

Requirements:

'¢ Excellent Linux / Unix skills

'¢ Strong Java skills

'¢ Experience in a Windows environment

'¢ Previous experience with web servers, such as Apache, Tomcat and / or JBoss

'¢ Experience of Automation tools, including Puppet and Shell scripting

'¢ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

'¢ Ideally, ability to write SQL

As a DevOps Engineer you will earn a competitive salary (to £52k) plus bonus and benefits, including pension scheme and 25 days holiday.
