Javascript Developer - Angular, Backbone, Ember

My Glasgow based client is currently celebrating a number of major project wins and as a result now requires 3 / 4 JavaScript Developers to join their projects. They hold a high standard of bringing in the most talented in IT Development and offer a fantastic opportunity to work with the latest technology in particular Javascript Frameworks.

What you will be doing in this role:

* You will be required to work within a team and also work on your own as a Senior Javascript Developer ensuring quality code and best practice.

* Advising and bringing your own professional experience to the project

* Carry out peer code reviews

* Coordinate learning sessions and knowledge transfer with other team members

* Develop unit tests

* Manage development strategies and activities with QA and Customer Support teams

* Identify and create estimates for development efforts

* Remain abreast of industry and product trends

What you should ideally bring to this role:

The chosen candidate will be a driven individual who knows how to get noticed and has a passion for all things Javascript and Mobile!

* Ability to meet project deadlines in an efficient manner

* Ability to develop comprehensive unit tests with 100% code coverage

* A strong knowledge of object-oriented methodology as well as a strong familiarity with database design

* Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must!

* Use of cross platform technologies is highly beneficial

* 3+ years experience in Javascript development.

* Fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complex problem solving.

* Strong proficiency in Javascript Development - Angular, Node, Backbone and Ember are highly beneficial

* Experience with Java Development

* Experience of working with SQL Server (the client use 2000 & 2008 but will soon be upgrading to 2012)

* Experience in efficiently consuming web services APIs using SOAP, XML, and JSON.
