Graduate / Junior Helpdesk Support - Windows / MS Office : Permanent - Edinburgh

Abrecco wish to recruit a Graduate / Junior Helpdesk Support Analyst on behalf of our well established client in Edinburgh. Working as part of a support team of eight people you will provide 1st line support to users across the business including supporting Windows Operating systems, Outlook, Exchange Server, and Microsoft Office. You will be responsible for user administration (starters / leavers etc) and the issue and management of user assets deployment (such as laptops and mobiles). Our client is looking to consider graduates that are seeking their 1st or 2nd role since graduation and are keen to be exposed to a wide range of technologies and are willing to learn new technical skills. This team sits across number of IT and Project areas, so the exposure to technology is excellent and the opportunity to progress in the long term is fantastic. To be considered for this role you should possess the following skills:

Essential:

- A HND / Degree in computing

- Good understanding of Microsoft Windows (XP / 7) and

- Good understanding of Microsoft Office (2003 / 2010)

- A strong desire to learn new skills and technologies

Desirable:

- Experience gained within a professional services environment

- Commercial 1st line Helpdesk support experience across PC?s, printers, and peripherals

- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Microsoft technologies

- Experience supporting Microsoft Outlook and Exchange Server

- Problem reporting and escalation

- Call logging and ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely manner
