A great opportunity has arisen for an Application Support Analyst to fill an Application Support position in the Glasgow area. The successful Support Analyst will get the chance to join a major company within the Public Services Sector in the Glasgow area. This role will give you the opportunity to support and develop applications changes to ensure their continual use.

Main Responsibilities:

* Liaise with customers to solve any problems they have with the application

* Analyse any application problems and identify how to resolve them

* Implement any changes made to the application

* Maintain documentation and identify ways to improve Service Support

* Maintain high levels of support and deliver support operations

* Work and share knowledge with the application support team

* Out of Hours Support

Skills Required:

* Experience of providing 2nd and 3rd Line support to external customers within an application support team

* Incident and Problem Management, ensuring their timely resolution.

* Experience of supporting bespoke or COTS application issues

* Understanding of ITIL processes

* Excellent communication skills

* Experience supporting .NET Applications would be beneficial
