Product Analyst : Software / Systems : Aberdeen - 55k

Abrecco wish to recruit on behalf of our client, an experienced Product Analyst to join an international market leading software house in Aberdeen, whose innovative solutions are used throughout the oil and gas industry. In this exciting role you will be responsible leading a team of analysts responsible developing product strategy and product roadmaps based on a thorough understanding of the market. The team is responsible for ensuring that the product meets the expectations of the end-user with little need for change. In this challenging yet exciting role you will have:

Essential:

- Strong Business Analysis experience within a commercial product environment.

- Ability to facilitate workshops & meeting to gather requirements

- Excellent communication and documentation skills with experience working with cross functional teams

- UML modelling

- Understanding of Object Oriented software development lifecycles

- Degree or similar in IT

- Mentoring / line Management experience / potential.

Desirable:

- Knowledge of Agile or RUP design methodologies

- Previous line Management experience

- Understanding of Change Management procedures

- Knowledge of the oil and gas industry
