Graduate/Junior Electronics Design Engineer - Aberdeen, Scotland (UK)

A leading Oil & Gas client are looking for a Graduate or Junior Electronics Design Engineer to join their growing team in Aberdeen.

The Graduate Electronics Engineer will work in the Electronics R&D group, and participate in the development and testing of new and existing tools to expand and enhance the tools and services provided.

The Graduate Electronics Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

- Design of electronics for tools, including schematic capture &

simulation.

- Development of hardware and software for testing and production.

- Engineering Report creation.

- Documentation on design & test development

The Graduate Electronics Engineer will have an excellent understanding of Analogue Electronics design, and an interest in working in the Oil & Gas sector.

Experience in the following areas would be desirable, but not essential:

- Experience of Data Acquisition, Test & Measurement.

- Experience of Matlab or Labview.

- Experience with high temperature electronics.

- Software/microprocessor skills.

The Graduate Electronics Engineer will be degree qualified to BSc or MSc level in an engineering subject, or have a proven track record in Electronics. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential, and computer proficiency is key.

This role is located in Aberdeen, Scotland (UK) and all applicants must have the right to work in the UK without restriction.

Salary: £18-30,000.
