Company & Project:

We have an urgent requirement for a Construction Manager to join their Construction team on projects up to £50m. My client has a proven ability for delivering the best value on some of the most technically demanding projects within the construction market.

The project is working initially on a £20m Commercial project based in Central London. Initial contract length is 10 months with potential of extension as the contractor has won a number of bids recently as they are experts within Commercial, Education and Healthcare projects around London.

Duties & Responsibilities:

As Construction Manager you will manage all aspects of operational work within a designated geographical area, managing supervisory staff and all duties associated with labour and sub-contractor teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for H&S, quality of works, cost control and overall delivery of the whole programme. They will organise and efficiently use all resources to ensure that all milestones are achieved.

Key Skills & Experience:

* 10 years+ experience with recognised main contractors.

* Educated to degree level or equivalent.

* Sound commercial and contractual knowledge.

* Can work individual or as part of a larger team and capable of driving a project forward.

* All qualifications: SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS all essential and must be in date.

* Previous roles: Construction Manager or Project Manager.
