Tester / Test Engineer (OSX UNIX Linux Jira Virtual Machine Testing). Start-up software house is seeking a talented Tester / Test Engineer to develop and conduct automated and manual tests for large scale, distributed systems. This is a technology driven company that presents a rare opportunity for an ambitious Tester / Test Engineer to impact the success of a future market leader. The management team have a track record of global success within the industry.

As a Tester / Test Engineer, you will develop and run automated and manual tests and report on the results. You will utilise your scripting skills to quickly execute the tests in a short delivery cycle and will assist client-facing Field Engineers with technically-complex issues from a QA position. These reports from your own extensive tests and contact with Field Engineers will be fed back to the Development Team for further development of existing systems and suggestions for new applications.

Based in South West London / Surrey, this is a friendly, collaborative workplace that offers the latest technologies and a dynamic environment.

Requirements:

'¢ Extensive testing experience of large-scale distributed systems

'¢ Strong UNIX, Network and scripting skills

'¢ Degree educated in Computer Science, or other relevant subject

'¢ Good written and verbal communication abilities

'¢ Familiarity of Network Management tools would be an advantage

As a Tester / Test Engineer you can expect to earn a competitive salary of £30k to £40k, plus benefits.
