As a senior member of the Transport Network Solutions team, you’ll be central to our success - working with the latest technology to produce fresh-thinking design solutions for IP routing, switching and security. That means proactively liaising with technical leads from across the business to identify and deliver the required IP solutions. It also means working with Managed Service Partners (MSPs) and third party vendors to champion the design and delivery of high quality, scalable and cost effective solutions. And whether you’re providing services for our wholesale customers or LTE programme, you’ll take ownership of a domain and provide technical leadership to the engineers working on various projects- ensuring a smooth and effective delivery in a high volume, fast-paced environment.

An experienced technical specialist, you’ll have extensive IP & Security Design knowledge - knowledge in a service provider environment (fixed or mobile). So naturally, you’ll have wide-ranging knowledge of switching, routing and security products. And when it comes to technical know-how, you’ll be an expert in everything from OSPF, QoS, NAT, VoIP, and IP routing, to MP-BGP, RIPv2, MPLS, network management platforms and SNMP. You’ll also have experience of IP addressing on a multiple site and size basis, and have worked with routers/switches (Cisco, Juniper, Huawei etc) , Large Scale NAT and Firewalls. But just as importantly, you’ll understand business and customer requirements and make sure your solutions deliver to them from start to finish.
