Software Tester

My client, based in the West End of Glasgow is looking for a number of Software Testers to work as part of a team creating, designing and developing their latest mobile business application. This currently support Andriod, iOS and Windows Phone on both phones and tablets.

Key Skills:

* Experience of hands-on manual software systems testing.

* A solid foundation of formal testing techniques. (Qualifications preferential)

* Working experience in a multi-person development team.

* Be able to install, configure and troubleshoot software installations.

* Exposure to automated testing.

Desirable Skills:

* Knowledge of Selenium, Cucumber or other test automation tools.

* Experience working in an agile development environment.

* Exposure to Linux.

* Exposure SQL.

* Prior work experience testing for mobile solutions. (Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Windows Mobile or Blackberry).

Day to Days:

* Collaborating with the wider development team of Business Analysts and Developers to create specification and documentation requirements.

* Working in line with the agreed functional stories create and execute (to the highest level) manual and automated tests.

* Creating relevant documentation.

* Work as a point of contact to help resolve and diagnose issues.

* Work in an open environment that facilitates information sharing to help develop all team members skill sets.

Salary:

£25,000-£35,000 Dependant on Experience.
