C# Developer - Risk IT - London - Up to £600/day

A leading Investment Bank is seeking a strong Developer to join the Risk IT business area, on a long-term opportunity within an exciting and fast-paced work environment.

The successful Developer will be expected to develop enhancements to existing systems using C#, WCF services, SQL Server, Excel VBA, VSTO . Business knowledge in the area of financial risk, especially traded risk, is highly desirable. The successful C# Developer should also be keen to work in an RAD style and manner.

Required experience:

o Strong C# development, up to Framework version 4.0

o Strong SQL and relational database design skills

o Strong Excel VBA

o Knowledge of WCF services

o Knowledge of OLAP Cubes and MDX

o Financial background required, with ability to talk about key concepts of financial risk

Ideal candidates will have:

o Advanced business knowledge preferred, particularly in the area of risk

o Strong ASP.Net MVC preferred

o Use of Subversion
