Abrecco are recruiting a software deployment engineer on behalf of our market leading client based in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be a highly educated individual having graduated with a BSc/MSc/PhD in a Computing, Engineering or Scientific subject. Candidates will be self starters with a proactive approach and the ability to work in a deadline and results driven environment. The organisation will provide full training on their industry sector and software product. Requirements for this position should include but not be limited to;

Essential

- Educated to Degree level in a relevant subject (2:1 or above)

- Real-time data and physical modelling

- Software/System Deployment, Integration, Customisation, Support etc.

- MS SQL Server 2005/2008 and above

- Windows Server 2003/2008/R2

- Database administration and Tuning

Desirable

- Experience in or knowledge of the oil and gas industry

- Experience of any of the following (C++, VB.Net, C#.Net, Oracle, RedGate SQL Tools, OSI Pi)
