Desktop Analyst - Cumbernauld - £24,000

Desktop Analyst - We are currently looking for a Desktop Analyst for a leading financial organisation at their offices in Cumbernauld. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team within a well established organisation.

Key responsibilities:

?Provide support to local and remote users via on-site, phone, or email.

?Troubleshoot user problems with software, hardware, or workstation network connectivity including imaging PCs, installing/upgrading software.

?Provide recommendations on methods to improve desktop support.

?Work with vendors on repair and maintenance of PC hardware and software.

?Provide 1st level support and troubleshooting for network services issues.

?Assist in network connectivity for installs, adds, moves and changes.

?Act as a liaison between users and internal support groups.

?Assist in the deployment, add, changes, or moves of computer hardware and software.

?Participate in projects, as assigned by Desktop Services management.

?Test compatibility and interoperability of company applications with current and future O/S platforms, configurations, and network architecture.

?Update and close calls in incident tracking system

?Escalate problems to appropriate teams, as required.

?Provides asset management for hardware and license management for software

To be suitable for this role you will need experience in a similar desktop support role. You will also need experience in Windows and Active Directory.

The salary on offer for this role is up to £24,000 depending on the level of skill and experience of the candidate and also includes a benefits package.
