C++ Developer / C++ Software Engineer (Linux UNIX TCP/IP Real-time Data Multi-threading R&D C++). World renowned financial institution is seeking a talented C++ Developer to design and develop real-time market data systems. These distributed, multi-threaded applications gather complex financial data from a broad range of sources and simplify it for applications, databases, and / or pricing distribution services.

As a C++ Developer you will manage development projects throughout the full development lifecycle, facing challenges of reducing latency, expanding content, and continuously improving the scalability and maintainability of the system. Based in the City this is a friendly, innovative environment where you will work with development teams across the business to deliver elegant solutions to technically challenging problems.

Requirements:

                               Strong C++ development experience on Linux / UNIX

                               Good understanding of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, Multicast)

                               Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

                               Strong project management skills

                               Interest in learning new technologies

                               Financial experience would be an advantage
