Scotland's leading IT Support Microsoft Gold Partner - Glasgow

UK's Largest IT Support Microsoft Gold Partner based in Scotland seeking a talented rounded, well-seasoned Citrix Consultant who is keen to apply their technical knowledge and hands on technological exposure and be the 'go to' person for all Citrix related projects and post implementation support queries for the region's largest Microsoft implementations and migrations. The organisation covers the full Microsoft stack including BI, SharePoint, CRM, ERP and Infrastructure/Telecoms solutions UK wide and will provide and fund certifications aside allowing access to the latest technologies and versions.

The position offers the opportunity for a highly motivated, conscientious and well-seasoned Virtualisation Consultant (3+years' experience) with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate difficult and sensitive information.

The key objectives for the IT Support Consultant will be to cover Pre-installation liaison with clients / salesper-son to agree objectives;

?Prepare technical plans and execution of plan to completion with customer acceptance

?Hardware and software installations based primarily around Microsoft / Hewlett Packard technologies at customer sites around the country

?Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies

?Document all project work to a high standard

?Assist with post-installation issues where required

About You

Key Skills & Requirements include:

?Virtualisation: EITHER - Citrix XenApp 6 and above (Desirable Citrix VDI-in-a-box) AND/OR VMware vSphere 5.x (Desirable Hyper V2012R2 and/or VMware Horizon View 5+)

Desirable

1.Microsoft Exchange 2007 to 2013

2.LAN / WAN / SAN technologies - Networking TCP/IP, VPN's and VLAN (Config and Troubleshooting)

3.Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 or 2012 R2

4.CCNA, VCP or MCSE Qualification. Degree level desirable.

5.Experience working in a similar role (Consultancy)

Salary & Benefits

£50,000/Annum + Bonus
